Have you noticed how many contradictions there are in the world? Basically everything is a contradiction, for one thing cannot exist without the other. Light and dark, for example; people call them opposites, I call them contradictions.
And now I’ve created another contradiction. Why am I, Ivy Landler, comforting him, Lance Cooper, my sworn enemy? I hate this person with all the passion I can muster, yet I feel compassion for him. Why? To tell you the truth, I have no idea.
